In May 2016, a group of alumni from the Faculty of Medicine decided to set up what is now known as the CU Medical Alumni Buddy Programme. With its mentorship programmes, orientation camps, talks on career and so forth, the Buddy Programme aims to help students cope with life on campus.
Doctors from both the public and private sectors, as well as CUHK academic staff, make up the core members of the Buddy Group.
