Origin of Concert
Gerald Choa Memorial Fund Charity Concert
Led by four enthusiastic and talented alumni – Dr. Arthur MAK, Dr. Bonaventure IP, Professor Anthony TEOH, and Dr. Amy CHAN, the Concert runs in a unique ensemble of Pop + Orchestral + Theatrical elements, and is crafted to celebrate the different milestones in the life of every CU Medicine graduate over the past 40 years.
The Concert aims to nourish the core value of Gerald Choa Memorial Fund in nurturing medical students and helping the community. Proceeds from the Concert will be donated to support scholarships for those with financial needs as well as overseas exchange experience and projects with worthy causes.

The Idea
In Search of Time
A unique symphony of classical, pop music and theatre, the CU Medicine concert offers a fresh musical take on our past 40 years together. Inspired by Marcel Proust's “In Search of Lost Time”, CU Medicine alumni and students will celebrate this beautiful journey by presenting to you a theatrical program of virtuosic classical performances and favorite pop tunes, delivered in rich and refreshing orchestral re-arrangements.
