“Giving is not just about making a donation.
It is about making a difference”

It is about making a difference”

Why donations are important?
Donations are the cornerstone of many successful programmes.
With financial contributions from alumni and the public, we will be able to initiate far-reaching and meaningful endeavours to benefit the Faculty, students and the community at large.
How to make a gift?
In recognition of generous donations to the Gerald Choa Memorial Fund, an Alumni Wall was established at Choh-Ming Li Basic Medical Sciences Building (BMSB) in the CUHK Campus. On this wall, donor name plaques are plastered in the shape of leaves on a tree. Special acknowledgments to donors will also be published in the Souvenir Programme of the Gerald Choa Oration.
Those contributing $10,000 or more will be acknowledged “on chair” in our teaching facilities, such as the Lecture Theatre at the Lui Che Woo Clinical Sciences Building, Prince of Wales Hospital. The donor’s name and graduation year (for alumni) or the name of organization and individuals will be marked on chair.
(Note: Donor’s name will be placed only when the teaching facilities and/or building still exist)
Alumni can donate either individually or together as a graduation class.
Every donation will make a difference, regardless of the amount. Your generosity will allow us to continue to work tirelessly and make a real difference to our medical community as well as society as a whole.
